Providing rescue & care for orphaned & injured wildlife, as well as a sanctuary for disabled wildlife, Wildlife Rehabilitation & Resource Center is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. In addition to hands on care, we provide information and assistance regarding local wildlife.
Located in rural Pender County, NC we have 9 disabled squirrels which are permanent residents. Our baby population varies depending on the season, storms, and rescues. Our property is also a haven for previously released wildlife, as well as natural native wildlife. Visitors are able to see wildlife up close, and sometimes hold a baby squirrel or rabbit.
We have no paid staff, depending on volunteers who love and care about our wildlife. We receive no funding, depending upon donations to sustain our mission. All donations are tax deductible.
Visitors and volunteers are ALWAYS welcome! If you would like to learn about our animals, arrange a visit, volunteer, or are interested in becoming a wildlife rehabilitator, please contact us!
