Wildlife Rehabilitation & Resource Center, Inc.

Caring for orphaned & injured wildlife

About Us

Wildlife Rehabilitation & Resource center is a 501(c)3  non-profit organization dedicated to providing care for orphaned, injured and disabled wildlife.  In addition to the hands on care, we provide information on, and assistance with local wildlife issues. We are volunteers who love and care about our wildlife and are concerned about their dwindling habitat.  We receive no funding, and depend upon donations to sustain our mission. All donations are tax deductible.

Located in rural Pender County North Carolina, we have 8 disabled squirrels which are permanent residents.  Our baby and juvenile populations vary in type and stages of development, depending on the season, storms, and rescues.  Our property is also a haven for previously released wildlife, as well as a large volume of natural native wildlife.  Visitors are encouraged to come see the wildlife, some of which are “people friendly”, excellent for teaching about normal behaviors and needs.

Visitors and volunteers are ALWAYS welcome and appreciated!

If you find an orphaned or injured animal, would like to find out more about us, would like to learn about our animals, would like to arrange a visit, would like to volunteer, or are interested in becoming a wildlife rehabilitator, please contact us!
